A self-confessed lover of nature, the countryside and all things equine, my love of photography was inspired by my obsession with the great outdoors. Having spent the majority of my life in the county of Suffolk, I’ve been incredibly lucky to grow up surrounded by both beautiful landscapes and an abundance of horses.
I have recently graduated from Falmouth University with a first-class honours degree in Marine and Natural History Photography – a subject I’m totally fascinated by.
My current position as Production and Edit Assistant at Equine Productions is a job that inspires me every day. As a keen content creator, working with EP is constantly encouraging me to create media that is engaging and innovative, whilst still working with horses! The dream, I tell you.
I first started riding around the age of two and (much to my poor parent’s despair) was well and truly bitten by the bug. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have shared my life with some beautiful horses throughout the years and have many wonderful memories (of when I stayed on, anyway!).
I had a few horses growing up, but one will forever stick in my mind. Fred became a rather large part of my life – so the decision to part with him before going to university was heart-breaking. After removing the hay from my hair, covering the mud up with make-up and donning a clean-smelling playsuit, I flung a camera at a close friend and asked her to capture our last moments together. Those photos are the reason that I chose to pursue the quiet thought of being an Equine Photographer. I treasure these images.
Thank you for letting me share my story with you. Please do feel free to explore my equine gallery, read about my adventures on my blog… If you would like to have an informal conversation about how we can create lasting memories of you and your horse, please do get in touch.
